Thursday, April 20, l899

MRS. O'DESSIE B. WILLIS died at her home in Colorado, March 30th, l899, aged 32 years, l month and 9 days.

Her maiden name was O'DESSIE KRIGH. She was married to JOHN WILLIS in l880. To that union were born 9 children, 8 of whom are now living. she leaves a husband, 8 children, mother and brother to mourn her loss. All was done that kind hands could do but death took her from this earthly care.

A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is still,
A vacant place is in our home
Which never can be filled.

Dearest Dessie thou has't left us
And your loss we deeply feel,
But we know that God has bereft us,
He can all our sorrows heal.

You have gone to be with Angels
On that bright and Heavenly shore,
There to dwell with many angels;
There to dwell for evermore.
