Once again surprised by what I information I learn from being on this list.
I don't live far from Dorrance , Kansas , and I printed out this one to take
to my Boss and his wife, they still have family who live in Dorrance at this
time, Boss's wife's family has been there over 100 years !!! I have been
helping going through pictures and other things from an Elderly Aunts'
estate, she passed on January 26th this year. She had lived in California
for many years but still had a jar of Wheat from Dorrance, where she was
born and raised. She was 85 January 1st. There are many old pictures of
Dorrance and surrounding area too. Nancee if it's possible , could you send
scans of the pictures that were with the article? Thanks for some unexpected
history this morning, and for all you and Stacy and others do to keep the
list alive and interesting.
