Mom, Ruby Cox, and I went to Davis City on Sunday afternoon. All was well
there but they did have a lot of rain and cemetery had huge pool of water
standing on one end. We were 6 miles from nearest hit Saturday night in and
around the Bethany, Harrison county area of Missouri. Most of the major
damage was south of there. The hail that hit Thursday did major damage to
Mom's new home and it will have to resided and possibly new singles too,
roof hasn't been checked yet so will have to wait for man to get there, did
break the skylight. Mom said to tell Nancee and all she's OK but 3
night/days of storms this severe in a week wears you down quick. We can be
thankful it wasn't the main torando that hit where we were both on Monday
and Saturday.
