I went back through my notes....forgot that this had been (remains) a
"mystery" for me awhile back. I am PRETTY SURE I'm dealing with two Minnie
Hawk's, but now can't imagine that this one, (who died in 1896), identified
as married to GB Hawk, is the same in the photo. To neat a trick! :-)
Curiouser and curiouser! Maybe another picture will surface---(or another
death record AFTER 1913.)

Back to the drawing board.

MRS. MINNIE HAMILTON HAWK, whose death was mentioned in our last issue, was
born in Hamilton Township, this county on September 10, l877, and died May
6, l896. She was married to G.B. HAWK September 3, l892, by which union two
children were born. Her last sickness extended over a period of about six
weeks.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. G.E. Mitchell, at the Hamilton
Cemetery, where the body was laid to rest, free from the cares, troubles
and strifes of a cold, cold world. The husband and children have the
sympathy of all, in this sad bereavement.
