I'm looking for information about Mary Ann Holmes, whose father was a physician in Vinton about 1953, having moved there from Lake Park, Dickinson Co, Iowa. Mary Ann graduated from Lake Park High School in 1953. I believe she became an airline stewardess, and very early in her career was killed in an airplane crash - perhaps in 1954 or 1955. Would like to find a report of the accident and an obituary for her. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
