Fred Wentler is buried in Silver Lake Cemetery at Lake Park, Iowa, as is his second wife, Delma Porter Wentler Golinghorst. There are several Wentlers buried in Silver Lake Cemetery. Also check the Dickinson County newspapers at: http://lakepark.newspaperarchive.com/AdvanceSearch.aspx, user id: lakepark; password: library. Was Harry Wentler a son of William Wentler? In 1901, the Board of Supervisors of Dickinson County accepted a claim from A. C. Wilson and a claim from W. A. Leonard for burying a child of Wm Wentler. A claim was also accepted from A. E. Rector for quarantine work and disinfecting in the family of Wm Wentler - per the Spirit Lake Beacon 1/18/1901. The child is not named.
