Wouldlove to know more about your Goetzinger family. My Grandfater's name was Nick, as I believe ws his father's. I don't know from where he came other than Germany at one time in the earlier days.

I have seen Nick spelled many ways & was surprised the tombstone had yet another. I have Baptismal records of a couple of his children & I find them all to be spelled differently.

My grandfather died when Dad was just a toddler. Information on our previous family has been extremely difficult to connect. I know my Grandfather died in Ohio, no clue to his father. Getzinger is the way the family now spells the name, although born under different family spelling within one family.
