Lot Brown's daughter Julia Grace md. (1) Albert Skelley; (2) P.L. Rhodes;
(3) Darlington D. Darby; (4) Rees B. Ellis. The following item concerns
her third husband.

THE FREMONT COUNTY HERALD. August 21, l906.--Mr. Darby Retires.--D.D. Darby
who has for the past six months filled the chair of local editor in the
Herald office, has retired from that position and will teach school in
Atchison county, Missouri, during the fall and winter. Mr. Darby makes
this change in order to be near his sister, Mrs. Tarpening, of Northboro,
who has been an invalid for a long time.

Our readers are familiar with the excellency of Mr. Darby's work on the
Herald. A more faithful, conscientious worker it would be impossible to
find. On every hand are heard expressions of regret that he is to leave
Sidney coupled with words of praise for his solid worth as a man and christian
gentleman. He takes with him the best wishes of the Herald and of the entire
population of Fremont county.

He wil be succeeded by Fred Hill.
