THE FREMONT COUNTY HERALD. December 19, l895.--Married, Sunday, Dec. 15,
at 4 p.m., James Cowger, of Riverton, to Miss Hattie Vansant, of Prairie
township, Christian minister of Farragut, officiating. The newly wedded
couple was given an elegant infair dinner at his father's, Dr. E.F. Cowger,
of this place (Riverton), the following day. Jim is a No. l good fellow
and has grown up among us and is one of our leading young men. Miss Vansant
is a daughter of William Vansant of Prairie township, one of the leading
men of our county. We wish the newly married couple all the happiness that
can accompany a married life and I am sure they will love, cherish and
protect each other as long as they can breathe a breath.
