I'm copying the following from Mabel's notes: 1.--1850: Federal Census, Fremont county, IOwa M. Collin Frost....63....N.C. Peninia...............62....N.C. 2.--1852: Fremont county Census, "Franklin township" M.C. Frost....2m....2f 3.--1854: Not found in this census by Fremont county. 4.--1856: Iowa State Census, Fremont county, "Franklin township" Mc Caslin Frost....68....N.C.....18 years in the State Penina.................65....N.C......18 N.B.: "They had lived for 18 years in the State of Iowa"? I am wondering if they had lived opposite Nauvoo, Illinois!--W.F.
