On May 2, 1879, she was united in marriage to John Jorgenson, who preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 1942.

In 1885 they came to America and located at Riverton, where they made their home for some 18 years. They then moved onto a farm about two miles south of Sidney, where they lived for seven years. Later they pruchased a farm one mile south of Sidney, which has been their home for the last 33 years.

Later she became a member of the Presbyterian church at Sidney, to which she was a very faithful member until the time of her death.
