THE FREMONT COUNTY SUN. Sidney, Iowa. March 14, 1901:
G. W. McMahon, 26, and Otsa McIntyre, 18, have been issued a marriage license.
Riverton News:
1. Frank Hodgset's father and brother live at Shenandoah.
2. Mrs. C. V. Frazier's sister lives at Stella, Nebraska.
Bartlett News:
1. Bartlett School starts Monday; the teachers are D.D. Darby and Essie Rector. (N.B.: Darby had taught previously at the Egypt school in southwestern Mills county.--W.F.)
2. Oscar Ferrel's uncle, John Carr, lives at Henderson.
3. Claud McDonald who has been living 2 miles east of Bartlett, is moving to a half section of land in Custer county, , 15 miles south of Mason City, Nebraska.

1. Luther Carver, who has just completed a term of teaching at District NO. 1, is going to attend school at Dixon, Illinois.
Local News:
1. Miss Carrie Carter will trim for Miss Emoline Liggett again this season.
2. Charles Van Eaton is moving to Taloga, Oklahoma.
3. A son was born to County Clerk Hatten on Wednesday.
4. E. D. Lord is a cousin of R. H. Stocking of San Francisco.
5. Roy Linn is a cousin of Mrs. G. T. Hatten.
6. Elisha Lindsay, father of R. P. Lindsay, lives in Creston, Iowa.
Farragut News:
1. William Greedy left with his car for Winfield, Kansas Thursday. (N.B.: This of course means he was emigrating to Kansas, and was moving his possessions by renting a railroad car.--W.F.)
2. George Selby was married at Elliott on Tuesday.
3. The last issue of the "Farragut Leader" was published Thursday. Then, editor Palmer took his outfit to Fairbury, Nebraska.
