I am trying to trace family roots of my mother, Katherine Elizebeth Spicer and my father, Merle R. Lindley. Mother grew up in Hamburg, Ia. and dad in Clarinda, Ia. My maternal great-grandparents were William O. and Kate Thorp and grandparents Neva Thorp Spicer and James a. Spicer.My mothers uncle Leon Thorp married Marie Angel and lived in Sidney, Iowa.
