Hi!

Joseph Hamilton was actually the oldest son of Catharine (Miller) Hamilton. Note the different spelling of Catharine. This is my ggg-grandmother. She is buried in Utterback Cemetery next to her daughter, Celestia Hamilton Manley Beckstead. I'm posting a picture of her headstone on a separate posting, as well as that of Joseph and his wife, Calista's stone in Hamburg Cemetery. Hope this clears things up for you! Let me know if you need more information on these Hamiltons. I've seen your Catherine in census documents from Louisa County. Makes it rather confusing to have two! Christine
