I am looking for documentation as to the name of this woman's first husband - the Van Scyoc. All the census listing appear to reveal only initials - so need some kind of proof of identity to untable lineage.

Can anyone help with such proof? (bible record, family letter, deed, etc?)

They resided Sidney Twp ca 1850 to 1854, then Monroe Twp in 1856 and he is apparently gone or dead by 1860 ( I think , given the age listed on the 1850 census that he may be dead).
