"TWO RIVERTON PAIRS REACH 50TH MILEPOST".-- (A write-up for the Judd's comes first).-----Monday, December 30, was the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Orla N. Mortimore of Riverton, and the occasion was celebrated Sunday. Mr. Mortimore is 75 and Mrs. Mortimore 68. They have lived in Riverton 45 years.

The eight living children, fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren were present. Open house was kept Sunday afternoon.

This makes the fourth couple in Riverton (Judd, Smith, Wynn, Mortimore) to celebrate their golden wedding anniversaries this year, and all have lived in or near town almost all of those fifty years.

The children presented Mr. and Mrs. Mortimore a $5 gold piece.
