Does anyone have any information on the ancestry, or descendats of Pierre "Perese" or Baptiste "Bateese" Leclerc/Leclair. I believe that Perese was also know as "Pied Riche". Any names that would further my search will be helpful. I am attempting to piece togther the Potawatomi families at Council Bluffs 1838 - 1849. I know that both of these men have families on the Half-Breed Annuty Rolls, but have been unable to find names. Apparenty Perese had a daughter, Fanny, and I have seen on this board that a Julia LeClair married Peter Livermore in 1849. Have no idea if she is connected, or if so, whose child she was. Thanks in advance for any information to further this endeavor. Donna
