Peter asked this privately to me too, so I decided I'd answer this on the
list so others won't be looking too.
According to the death records: MARTIN, Balina died aug 26, 1910 Valley twp
Guthrie Center age 84y 16d buried Aug 27, 1910 Guthrie Center , born Aug 10,
1828 MD, father ___ MARROW
So sorry, Peter, this doesn't look like your man.

I also looked in the Union Cem. Records and found MARTIN, Bolina 1826-1910
buried close to Barbara Shreves 1848-1923 with just a

Records from the WPA indicate this person to be a woman with surname Martin.
Maybe someone living in Guthrie Center can check the cemetery records or an
obituary?
