Charlotte M. Kuhlman
WOODBINE - Charlotte Mae Kuhlman, 79, of Lake View died Jan. 3 at St. Luke's
Regional Medical Center in Sioux City.
She was born Sept. 23, 1922, in Woodbine to John and Luella Mae (Hagen)
Browning. She attended country school in the Woodbine area. She was a
homemaker.
In 1938, she married Glenn Androy and they lived in Harrison and Monona
Counties. On Aug. 10, 1957, she married Kenneth Kuhlman. They lived in Denver
until 1962 when they moved to a farm in Moorhead. The couple retired from
farming in 1997 and moved to Lake View.
Survivors in addition to her husband include three daughters, Connie and
husband, Charlie Kerger, of Woodbine; Linda and husband, Marty Toms, of
Scranton; and Mary and husband, Andy Arndt, of Woodbine; three sons Jack
Androy of Lake View; Bob Androy of Dunlap; and Roger and wife, Joan Androy,
of Logan; two "adopted" children, Ron and Sharon Lee, of Dunlap; five
sisters, Francis Coffelt, of Logan; Ardith and husband, Charlie Gibson of
Gaffney, S.C.; Betty Pierce, of Laffette, Ill.; Shirley Walasek, of
Louisville, Neb.; and Alice Ingalls, of Carroll; four brothers, James and
wife, Mary Browning, of Elkhorn, Wis.; Charles and wife, Claudia Browning, of
Pinnacle, N.C.; Don and wife, June Browning, of Memphis, Tenn.; and Carl and
wife, Pat Browning, of Ralston, Neb.; 20 grandchildren, 32
great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fouts Funeral Home in Woodbine.
The Rev. Jerry Schultz of the United Church of Christ Church in Lake View
will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodbine Cemetery.
