In going through my gggrandfather's Civil War pension file, there is a statement that he lived in Harrison County, Ioway (their spelling, not mine) after he was discharged.

James married Celinda in 1868 in Marshall Co., Illinois.

Their daughter Florence, my ggrandmother, is listed in census records as being born in Iowa. Celinda is also listed in some records as being born in Iowa.

James and Celinda moved to Cumberland Co., NJ, where most of their children were born and where James and Celinda are buried.

What I'm trying to find out is if ANYONE knows ANYTHING about this family.

Thanks for any help!

Barbara
