Erville M. Bryan
HARLAN - The funeral for Erville Maxine Bryan, 73, of Harlan will be Friday
at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Harlan.
Mrs. Bryan died April 15 at St. Joseph Hospital.
She was born in Garden City, Kan. She previously lived in Clifton, Kan. She
graduated from Clifton High School. She was part owner and bookkeeper of L.B.
Sod Company from 1952-74. She also worked at Logan-Missouri Valley Golf and
Country Club for 11 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in
Harlan. She organized the Missouri Valley Community Easter Egg Hunt and
prepared 144 dozen eggs.
Survivors include three daughters, Vickie Lynn Gillespie and husband, Jimmy,
of Harlan, Debbie Lou Bryan of Roxborough Village, Colo., and Cherie Lee
Eckhoff of Harlan; two sons, Lyle Ray and wife, Sara, of Broomfield, Colo.,
and Jeffrey Nolan and wife, Donna, of Ft. Calhoun, Neb.; two sisters, Lois
Stoll and husband, Vern, of Oakley, Kan., and Barbara Steiner and husband,
Bud, of South Sioux City, Neb.; one brother, Elmer Stinemetz, and wife, Mary,
of Hanston, Kan.; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Prayer service will be tonight at 8 at Pauley Funeral Home in Harlan. Burial
will be in Branson Cemetery in Loveland.
