Vernon D. Allstot

Vernon Dale Allstot, 54, of Council Bluffs was found dead July 29 at home.

He was born March 17, 1948, in Sun Dance, Wyo. He lived in Council Bluffs for
the past 30 years. He graduated from culinary school at Iowa Western
Community College. He was a cook at Iowa Western Community College for 10
years. He was a volunteer at Loess Hills Nursing Home.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary Rudy of Council Bluffs and Nancy Baker of
Omaha; three brothers, Glen Lewis and wife, Carolyn, of Woodbine, Richard
Music of Myrtle Beach, N.C., and Dickie Music of Sioux City; nieces and
nephews; great-nieces and nephews.

There will be no services. The body has been cremated.
Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
