The Dunlap Reporter November 4, 1982

Bernard Gerhard Termuhlen was born May 21, 1901, in Willow Twnship, Monona County, Iowa, son of Gerhard Termuhlen and Anna Feuerbach Termuhlen. He died Monday, October 25, 1982, at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs.
Ben was born and lived all his live around Dunlap. He farmed and then went into trenching. Ben retired in 1979 from the trecnhing business.
He was married to Mary Clark in Denison on March 21, 1944.
Survivors include his brother, Henry, nephews, neices and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Frank; and sisters, Mary, Katherine Termuhlen and Anna Chupp.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dunlap Thursday, October 28, 1982. Father James Freeman officiated at the 2 p.m. service.
Internment was made in Plesant Hill Cemetery in Dunlap. Pallbearers were Leo Heller, Dan Mefferd, Raymond Krajicek, Jim Fitzgerald, Jim Clark, Jr., all of Dunlap and Dean Sorensen of Denison. Fouts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
