I am looking for the family of Lewis and Gladys A. Boyd. Gladys was the
daughter of Richard and Nettie Hagerman Haynie. Richard and Nettie
divorced and Richard married Daisy Wall. I know that Gladys has a half
sister living in Harrison County, Iowa. Perhaps someone researching the
Wall family knows of Gladys.
Lewis and Gladys are living in Modale in the 1920 Census. Lewis is 49 and
working as clerk in the hardware store. Gladys is only 20 and they have a
daughter Waunita (Juanita?) that is 2 2/12 yrs. old. In the 1930 Census,
Gladys is now a widow at 30 with 4 children. Waunita V. is now 12, Vesta D.
is 9, Dolor E. (son) is 6 and Lena C 3 11/12. I believe that I found Delors
in the SSDI index and he was living in Montana at the time of his death in
1984. Does anyone recognize this family? Since Gladys was only 30 when
widowed, perhaps she remarried. Any help would be deeply appreciated.
