James J. Paillot

MISSOURI VALLEY - The funeral for James J. Paillot, 66, of Blair, Neb., will
be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley
with the Rev. Ron Wymer officiating with military honors conducted by the
Julius F. Muller American Legion of Missouri Valley, followed by lunch and
fellowship at the Church of Christ in Missouri Valley.

Mr. Paillot died Nov. 1 at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, Neb.

He was born Sept. 1, 1936, in New Orleans, La., to Joseph A. and Ernestine
(Ponceti) Paillot. He served in the U.S. Army for four years and then served
in the Navy until his retirement. He had served in the Korean War and two
tours in the Vietnam War. After his retirement from the military he was
employed as a Building Inspector. At the time of his death he was employed by
the State of Nebraska Public School System.

Mr. Paillot and his wife, Jean (Bryant), were married April 12, 1958.

Survivors in addition to his wife include three sons, Jerry Michael of
Bellevue, Neb., Danny Martin of Lincoln, Neb. and James Jerry Jr. of
Glendale, Ariz.; one sister, Juanita Felco, of Louisiana; one brother,
Joseph, of Louisiana; six grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service
Wednesday at the funeral home.
