Elden T. "Casey" Jones, 87, of Council Bluffs died March 10 at home.

He was born April 15, 1915, in Missouri Valley to Glenn C. and Bertha M.
(Green) Jones. He was in the service during World War II. He was service
manager for Hughes Motor Co., retiring in 1980 after 37 1/2 years service. He
was a member of American Legion Post No. 2; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post
737; Council Bluffs Eagles No. 104; AARP.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his first wife, Ora L. "Babe," on May 10,
1990.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline E. (Guttau), married since 1994; son,
Clifford L. Jones, and wife, Dorothy E., of Centralia, Wash.; four
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; nieces
and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at
Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday at 11
a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert O. Boseck officiating. Burial
will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery with military rites conducted by American
Legion Rainbow Post No. 2.

Memorials may be offered to First Christian Church or Salvation Army.
