The funeral for Marjorie A. Lesline, 76, of Cedar Crest, N.M., formerly of
this area, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring
Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lesline died March 6 in Cedar Crest.

She was born July 12, 1926, in Missouri Valley to Edward Deal and Anna Jones
Deal. She lived in Council Bluffs until 1966, Kearney, Neb., from 1966-1969,
Omaha from 1969-1988, Arkansas 1988-1993 and New Mexico from 1993-2003. She
graduated from Missouri Valley High School. She was account manager for
Citicorp, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Credit Women's International
and past president of the local chapter.

Mrs. Lesline and her husband, Les, were married 40 years. She was preceded in
death by a son, Michael, on June 15, 1999, and a sister, Betty Mae
Weatherington.

Survivors in addition to her husband include a son, Ret. Lt. Col. Mark
Snyder, of Chesterton, Ind.; a daughter, Monica Allen, and husband, Robert,
of Viola, Ark.; grandchildren, Sarah and Rebecca Lesline, Kathleen and
Mitchell Dillon; a sister, Mary Jane Baker, of Omaha; two nieces and one
nephew.

Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 8:30 at the funeral home. Burial will be
in Fairview Cemetery.
