Darold Dean Earleywine, 83, Valley, Nebr., died March 5 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital, Council, Bluffs.

Darold Dean was born March 13, 1919 in Pisgah to Clyde and Daisey (Hildreth) Earleywine. He was married to Wilma Maxwell. Darold was a truck driver for Ready-mix Concrete. He retired in 1982.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma; son, Danny; sisters, Retha, Rhea, Verley; and brothers, Royal, Conlley, Ralph and Ray. Darold is survived by his daughters, Penni Scott and her husband, Rex, Valley, Nebr.; Vicki Harvey, Las Vegas, Nev.; Patti Stockton and her husband, Larry, Carter Lake; Kathi Earleywine, Honolulu, Ha; brother, Bill and his wife, Ann, Wichita, Kans; sister, Bernadine Mercer, Hastings, Nebr.; sister-in-law, Jessy Earleywine, Lincoln, Nebr.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; cousins; and close nephew, Junior Nuzum.
Funeral services were held at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home, Council Bluffs, March 8, the Rev. Roger Prescott, officiant.
Interment was in the Blencoe Cemetery.
