MISSOURI VALLEY - Norma V. Orndoff, 91, of Modale died Oct. 1 at the Longview
Care Center in Missouri Valley.

She was born June 2, 1912 in Modale to "Pete" Alva and Nettie (Brunner)
Alexander. She worked at the Alexander Store in Modale and was a waitress in
Hastings, Beatrice, Neb., Council Bluffs, and the Burlington Station in Omaha. She
was the Food Service Supervisor at the Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.

Survivors include her son, Vernon Lightell and wife, Kitty, of Omaha; sister,
Mildred Strain of Modale; brothers, Joe Alexander of Modale, Don Alexander of
Lakewood, Calif., Clarence Alexander of San Antoine, Texas; two
grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the
Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley.

Funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
