LOGAN - James "Jim" N. Wood, 91, of Logan died March 20 at Community Memorial
Hospital in Missouri Valley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie; sister, Eleanor Smith
and brother, Robert.
Survivors include his wife, Helen, of Logan; stepdaughter, Sonja Clanton and
husband, Denny, of Omaha; brothers, Edward and wife, Ann, of Chandler, Ariz.,
Richard of Chandler, Ariz.; step-grandchildren, Lisa Wall and husband, David,
of Osage Beach, Mo., D.J. Clanton and wife, Jill, of Omaha, Traci Krauth and
husband, Brad, of Plattsmouth, Neb., Misti Fredstrom and husband, Jason, of
Yorkville, Ill., Lindsey Stover and husband, Mitch, of Omaha; several
step-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and many friends.
Wake service will be tonight at 7 at Logan Memorial Chapel with visitation to
follow. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's
Catholic Church in Logan. Burial will be in Logan Cemetery with military rites
conducted by the VFW Post 6256 and O'Hara Seeley Post.
