DUNLAP - Wendell Grady, 83, of Dunlap died March 28 at his home near Dunlap.
He was born Jan. 5, 1946. He married Delores Moran at St. Patrick's Catholic
Church in Council Bluffs. The couple lived and farmed Wendell's family farm.
He was the fourth generation to farm the land. Wendell was a member of the St.
Patrick's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Hilton, Norbert
and Robert Grady.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Delores Grady, of Dunlap; seven
children, Pat Grady of Logan, Rosemary Grady and husband, John Kyreakakis, of
Logan, Mary Ann and Wayne Burress of Netherlands, Suzanne Grady of Fort Myers,
Fla., Jim and Jane Grady of Dunlap, Sarah Grady and husband, Robert Bledsoe of
Phoenix, Ariz., Maureen Grady-Tatge' and husband, George Tatge' III, of Atlanta,
Ga.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three first cousins,
Madeline Snethen of Council Bluffs, Dr. John McLeary of Omaha and Mary Tedesco of
Council Bluffs; and many other relatives and friends.
Scripture service will be held at 7 tonight at St. Patrick's Parish Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic
Church in Dunlap. Fouts Funeral Home in Dunlap is in charge of arrangements.
