Subject: Question about Iowa phone area codes

Good morning,

I am planning on doing a mass mailing searching for any Fitch surname
connections in Harrison County. Yahoo has a directory listing and a lot of the
listings have a 712 area code, for cities not even in Harrison County. Is this
normal in Iowa to have the same area code for more than one county? Or is yahoo
using 712 as a coverall number for what they have not researched maybe?
