Blendena (Benny) Ethel Adams Cooper, 88, Stockton, Calif., died June 1 in Stockton.
Blendena was born on February 1, 1917 in Mondamin.
Benny was preceded in death by her mother, Dora (Peasley) Adams; father and step- mother, Chauncey K. and Evelyn Adams; loving husband, Floyd Henry Cooper, brother, Francis E. Adams and granddaughter, Deborah Lynn Cooper.
She is survived by sons, Keith Cooper and his wife, Donna, Stockton Calif.; Monte Cooper and his wife, Elaine, Spring, Tex.; and Gary Cooper, Spring, Tex.; grandchildren, Mike Cooper and Terry Cooper, Stockton, Calif.; Roger Cooper, Cypress, Tex.; Rhonda Cumbie and Richard Cooper, Spring, Tex.; Tony Cooper, Los Angeles, Calif.; Tammy Burton and Tonya Cooper, Apache Junction, Ariz.; brothers, Charles Adams, Allen Adams, and Blair Adams; sisters, Jennie Gallentine, Louise Tietgen, Georgia Garnette, Edna Wede, and Rena Ford; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today (Wednesday, June 8) at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home, Missouri Valley, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held Thursday June 9, at Little Sioux Cemetery at 10:30 a.m.
