Ronald L. Ford, 62, Modale, died Dec. 7 at Alegent Health Community Memorial Hospital, Missouri Valley. Ronnie was born Jan. 22, 1943 in Council Bluffs to Leo and Beulah (Donnelson) Ford. He attended school and graduated from Modale High School. Ronnie married Marilyn VanCleave, Feb. 14, 1964 in Modale. The couple was blessed with two children. He farmed in the Modale area for many years. Marilyn died Aug. 3, 1996. Ronnie enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn, and daughter, Lori. At the time of his death, survivors included: his parents, Leo and Beulah Ford, Modale; his son, John Ford and his wife, Dawn, Missouri Valley; brothers, Kenneth Ford, Missouri Valley; and Tim Ford and his wife, Mary, Commerce, Tex.; and grandchildren Nichol, Austin, Heather, Dylan, and Colton.
Funeral Services were held Dec. 12 at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home, Missouri Valley, Pastor Bob Dagit, officiant.
Casket Bearers were: Jim Ford, Ken Ford, Scott Ford, Jod Hember, Don Harvey, and Todd Hember. Interment was in the Calhoun Cemetery near Missouri Valley.
