Lloyd E. Wood, 75, Omaha, died July 14 at his home after a long illness. Lloyd served in the United States Marine Corps in the Korean War. He enjoyed building and flying model/radio controlled airplanes. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Wood; and sister, Mildred Purcell. Survivors include: his wife, LaVonne; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Julle Wood; daughter and son-in-law, Cheri and Scott Bott; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and other family and friends. Funeral Services were held July 18 at Wildewood Christian Church, Papillion, Neb. Interment was in the Calhoun Cemetery near Missouri Valley. Bethany Funeral Home, LaVista, Neb. was in charge of arrangements.
