Elizabeth Ann Keairnes daughter of Wilson amd Elln Keairnes, wa born in Atchison Co. ,Mo. Jan 1,1848, and died at her home S.E. of Woodbine, Iowa March 17,1930. At the age of 3years she with her parents, came to gallands Grove,Shelby Co. . Jan 1 1868 she was married to Amsey Beedle. To them eight children were born, Carrie,Laura, George, Bessie, Laverne, Jesse, Maud and Irene.
Mrs Beedle was a member of the L.D.S. church.
She may rightly be classed as a pioneer of Shelby and Harrison Counties, having lived in the two counties for 79 years.
Burial in Whitesboro Cemetary.
