I am searching for the parentage of Loammi Byron Brown, b. 22 Feb 1840 in Fairport, Muscatine, IA to Richard Gibson Brown and mother unknown. He m. Amanda Melton 12 November 1865 and d/b., 11 June 1912 in Aledo Cemetery, Mercer Co., IL.

any and all information on this family is greatly appreciated! Especially interested in Richard Gibson's ancestry. I am glad to share all that I have on the second family of Richard Gibson.

Additional info: Richard G. Brown's second wife was Rebecca Moore, b. 22 Jun 1821 in Newark, Licking, OH; m. Richard 12 Jan 1844 in Rock Island, IL.
