Alfred P. Anderson, age 93, passed away February 14, 2007.

He was born in Woodbine, Iowa, on July 2, 1913 to Andy and Addie (Johnston) Anderson. Alfred owned a furniture store in Missouri Valley for 20 years before selling in 1966. A member of First Christian Church. Alfred and wife, Edna were married on October 31, 1931.

He is preceded in death by his wife; sons, Alfred Eugene at birth and Kenneth in 1988; parents, brother, Lester; sister, Mildred.

Survivors include daughter Beulah Sass and her husband, Marvin of Council Bluffs, Betty Gardner of Euless, Texas; son, Robert and his wife, Sarah of Rancho Mirage, Calif.; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

Visitation with family, Sunday 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral services Monday, 11:00 a.m at the funeral home, Rev. David Erickson, Pastor, First Christian Church, officiant. Family will welcome friends for a luncheon immediately at First Christian Church. Family and friends will leave for cemetery in Missouri Valley at 1:30 p.m. from First Christian Church. Memorials suggested to the church.
