Gloria has some very good suggestions. I might make one more.

When the USGENWEB began down in Kentucky, the idea was that everyone has
some data on their family and if we pooled it, we would all have more. It
has reached the point now where on line databases are expected on all of the
counties which is fine if you live next door to the courthouse, but many
coordinators live in totally different states although Iowa is making an
effort to get local coordinators.

One thing nearly everyone has occasionally are funeral folders from the
death of a friend or loved one. Those funeral folders have vital
genealogical information on them. Birth, death, perhaps maiden names, pall
bearers that may be relatives, sometimes even parents names. Post them on
the mailing list or if you prefer post them on the Message Boards. We now
have two message boards. The one on Rootsweb and the one on the IaGenWeb
site. Sheila Carr is still the administrator for the Rootsweb message boards
but I have the now mandatory message board on IaGenWeb for new county
coordinators. Links to both of these are always on the index page of the
County GenWeb pages and you are free to use either one. More information on
the boards can be found at the bottom of the page on the web site. Link
below.

Miscellaneous documents can be placed on the Henry County GenWeb boards.
