I am a descendant of John 'Pap' CONNER and Ellen Catharine LINT. I have
found John CONNER, Sr. father of John 'Pap' CONNER, on the 1900 census
living with them, but have been unable to find anything else. I have no idea
where the elder John CONNER is buried, although I assume he died sometime
between 1900-1910, as he drops off any censuses. At first I thought John W.
CONNER was one and the same with John CONNER, Sr., but clearly they are two
different individuals. According to the 1900 census, John CONNER, Sr. was
born in May 1817 in Virginia.

Dear Aaron,
Getting late and my mind is not working- need to go back over all these
e-mails on the Connor families-
however, you can answer me quicker than I can go back through everything
tonight!
You say you are not related to the John and Catharine Sheets Conner --
So- are you related to the John and Catharine Lint Conner? If so, do you
know George Lint who has done extensive work on the Lint family- we have
corresponded many years and I have lots of Lint info--
I haven't heard from him for some time- he spends all his summers in
Germany, but should be back in Florida soon.
I have bits of info on several other Conner families in this area that I am
trying to piece together.
NO_ I am not related- just an old genealogist that likes to have fun helping
others.
I have lots of history books, marriage records, cemeteryy records, etc.,
from central Iowa Counties in my home library -lots of info from all over
plus copies of 50 years of genealogivcal research for others. (NOT
organized, tho--) My family came to this part of Iowa in 1856- so do touch
lots of these families
If you would care to send me pedegree charts and family group sheets on your
family I will see what other areas I can help you with.
