Feel free to pass along my info to George LINT. John CONNER, Sr.'s obituary
may be in The Maxwell Tribune. John 'Pap' CONNER and Ellen LINT were living
in Clear Creek Township in 1900. By 1920 I think she was living in Maxwell.
John 'Pap' CONNER died in 1918. Thanks for your help.

Aaron

Were they living in Clear Creek Twp in 1900?
Do you know where any of the other children were living- perhaps he was
visiting one of them and buried where they lived.
Perhaps he 'went back to where he came from' and was buried there. (My own
great great grandmother-Mrs. Jacob {Margaret Henning} Marquette was said to
'have gone back to where she came from and died there'-I have searched and
searched but have not found her grave--- but I found a death date for her
in the Bible records of her sister)

It is really very surprising how many times people were 'taken back to where
they came from ' and buried there. I have found newspaper accounts telling
of people being buried in Pennsylvania and Virginia- New York.

I have many of the old newspapers from Colfax from 1900 to 1910 but just do
not have the time to go through each one-but will keep looking as I find the
time. (this old 79 year old body doesn't work very fast)
Another possibiliity for you is that the Colfax papers are microfilm- can be
ordered by inner-library loan.

Shelley and I have been friends for years but had been working on other
names in her family tree and had not touched the Conner family until
recently.

In George Lint's family, he has sent many generations of the Lint family. I
expect I will hear from him when he gets back in the US-- Would you like for
me to put you in contact after I do?
Better get busy but wanted to send you my thoughts after reading your
latest---
Catharine
