There is not a Mechanicsville Cemetery in Jones County, BUT there is one at
the north edge of Mechanicsville in Cedar County. Mechanicsville is on the
north side of the railroad tracks 7 miles, east of Mt. Vernon, Iowa on Hwy
#30. It is about 2 miles south of the Jones Cedar County line.

It is a lovely cemetery and well kept and very easy to get around in. If
you need more information, please get in contact with me for I love this
geneology stuff with heavy emphasis on cemeteries. I live in south western
Jones County, the west end of my road starts in Linn County.
