Thanks for the look-up! No, I don't have a death record for George Laubach,
but he was supposedly "declared" dead because he disappeared. No one knows
anything about him after 1889.

What I think I need to do is to hire someone to look up records at the clerk
of court. I think that's where someone else on this list suggested I start.
Can anyone recommend someone in the Keokuk and Washington areas that does this
sort of thing for a fee?
