I am searching for Anderson, Morgan, Krabbenhoft, Baken, Schauwecker,
Bauman.
Frank O. Morgan, a Swedish immigrant, married my great aunt Betty
(Bertha) Morgan (also from Sweden) in the early 1870s, and about 1886 or
so moved to Cedar Rapids, IA. Both are buried there in the Linwood
Cemetery.
One of their daughters (whose first name is never given -- only "Mrs."
so-and-so!!!) married George Louis Krabbenhoft. As late as 1936, the
family residence was 550 Forest Drive SE, Cedar Rapids, IA. George
Louis Krabbenhoft was shown on his SSA application as being employed at
Kwik-Way Motor Service Shop, Inc., 924 17th St NE, in Cedar Rapids.
Another daughter, Irene Morgan, married Theodore L. Baken December 1918
in Kensett, IA. One of their daughters married Richard Savone, and
resided in New York in 1943 per her obit in Cedar Rapids Gazette. Irene
Baken died in Detroit, MI, December 20, 1943, but was buried at Cedar
Memorial Park three days later.
Trying to locate current descendents.
Thanks for any help,
David Clark
