Yes Cathie. It's funny you mention this as I've been pondering that very
thing.
Since radio & tv were not around, family, friend and neighbors were
probably
that much closer. It was certainly a different world back then, in so
many ways.
I wonder too how many attended church together.
To get a feeling of what it may have been like in some ways, the show,
Little
House on the Prairie, was set in the early late 1870's and early 1880's I
believe.
