Wether there was an epidemic, I don't know, but will find other members of
that family that died in the same decade in other areas. But if you would
like to share share some notes, please contact me at ( summit @ fmtcs.com )
and take out the spaces. The Cress family is heavily mixed up in mine.

Was there an epidenic of some kind in Linn Co., IA in the 1850-1855
time period? I'm working on the CRESS families of that county and
my husband's John and Lucinda CRESS (originally GRASS) died close to
each other in the early to mid-1850's leaving a number of children.
