MARRIED. -- At the residence of the bride's father in Jackson Tp. recently, MR. R.M. CRITCHFIELD and MISS FRANCES J. FORSTER. We received the cake and the names of the parties as above, but neither the date nor name of the person who officiated at the marriage. And as the license was not returned at time of going to press, we were unable to get them from the records. But this is not material, as it was quite a recent occurrence, and done up in good style in the "name of the State of Iowa" we have no doubt. We learn, however, what is rather a singular coincidence in connection with the wedding, to-wit: that the CRITCHFIELD family consists of seven boys, and the FORSTER family of seven girls, and that this is the second FOR(E)ST -- er that's been converted in a (Critch) Field. That it may be a fruitful one is the wish of the Patriot.
