Hello to All List Members:

Mills County is booming with new items. The next part of the Malvern History will be online very soon.
On a microfilm I have at the Family History Center, I found military discharge papers. I have one in for now, but more to come. These will be going in as scanned documents.
I found an old book with articles from WWII that was in bad shape. To preserve the clippings, they have been printed out on acid free paper to preserve them. What a treasure!! Their are 70 pages altogether. The index has over 1600 names.
Another project in the future are miscellaneous articles given to the library to also be preserved. I haven't had a chance to look through them, but their are reunions, and war articles. Their is a great deal of them, and they will all have to be sorted into years, scanned on acid free paper, indexed, and typed up. This will be a big project, and will take time.
I truly hope you are finding new information!!
Until next time---
