I am trying to find information about my great grandmother Margaret Emily Baker (born in Missouri in 1843) who married Alva G. Skinner in 1864 in Missouri. Margaret Emily was the daughter of James and Temperance Ferrell Baker. After she was married to Alva, they moved to Glenwood and Pacific Junction in Mills County, Iowa, during the 1880s. I understand that some of Emily's siblings, too, moved to Mills County, Iowa. Those who could have possibly moved there are John Baker, born in Tennessee in about 1833, Joseph Baker, also born in Tennessee about 1833, Monroe S. Baker, born 1841 in Tennessee or James Baker, born in Missouri about 1846. There were also sisters by the name of Mary and Elizabeth. Although I know most of Alva and Emily's Skinner descendents, I would like to find stories or photographs of them during their years in Iowa prior to moving to western Nebraska in the late 1800s. I would appreciate any information you can provide.
