I am hoping someone can help me with this couple. I found the marriage listing for a Caswell Rose that md Tuny Huse 03 apr 1864 on the Early Marriages, Page Co, Iowa on Ancestry.com.

But that does not seem to fit for the above couple, although it might very well be them. I am looking for a pre 1860 marriage record probably in Iowa, Page county.

I have found this couple on the 1860 IA, Page Co, Nebraska twp, pg 951. They are living next door to Caswell's brother David Rose & his wife Huldah (Hurst). Caswell & David are the sons of John Rose and unknown first wife.

Sidney 25 TN
Conudon 5 IA very hard to read name, Male
Nancy M 2 IA
1870 census suggests that this 5 yr son is named William.

Sidney Rose wd of Caswell Rose is applying for widows pension by Feb 1865.

1870 Sidney Rose is living in MO, Platte Co, Weston twp, pg 449B. She is widowed & living with her 3 children in the h/h of William Minor & wife Mary A.

I did find brothers Caswell, David & William listed, of all places, on the index of Kansas Voters 1854-1856, all listed for 15 Dec 1855. Sooooooo, Caswell could have married in Kansas.
